Xingda debuts new strategy and brand at its annual event

Sanya, China, December 9th - Jiangsu Xingda Steel Tyre Cord Co., Ltd., one of the leading players in the industry, unveiled its strategy for the next five years, namely, “New Xingda 2025”, at Xingda Global Forum 2022, an annual event co-sponsored by China Rubber Industry Association and Beijing Research & Design Institute of Rubber Industry.
For years, Xingda has been committed to promoting sustainable and high-quality development of the global rubber reinforcement industry. Over the past decade, Xingda has achieved steady sales growth, established a global footprint, expanded its production capacity, optimized its product portfolio, and integrated smart technologies into its operations.
In order to achieve more successes, Xingda puts forward the strategic goal of "rebuilding a new Xingda" for the future, focusing on making breakthroughs in internationalization, smart transformation and sustainability, which are the three pillars of the "New Xingda 2025" strategy.
To become a truly international company, Xingda will expand its marketing and operational network to sell more products overseas and provide localized services to more international clients. It will stay committed to further globalizing its production footprint, looking to utilize the full capacity of the Thai plant next year, and finalize the planning of the 2nd plant outside of China by 2025.
The 2nd strategic focus is to utilize smart technologies on corporate level to empower not only production but also the entire system. Building on its advanced position in automation, Xingda will concentrate more on connected control of all equipment, data collection and analysis and eventually, the application of smart decision-making mechanism throughout its everyday operations. The new steel cord plant in Jiangsu, which is all set to be launched early next year, will bring Xingda’s understanding of smart transformation on full display.
The new plant will also serve as a sample of Xingda’s ambitions on sustainability, for which four key actions have been defined during the launch of “New Xingda 2025”, namely, developing green products, implementing circular economy, tackling climate change and achieving sustainable supply chain. A slew of specific measures will be taken, to lower energy consumption, cut emission, optimize product portfolio and recycle more raw materials, ensuring progress be made according to the plan by 2025.
Alongside the “New Xingda 2025” strategy, Xingda also formally released its new brand image for the new phase. Evolving from the original image, the new one aims at conveying Xingda’s long-lasting aspiration of producing quality steel products, and its determination of building a modern, international enterprise with openness, inclusiveness and vitality.
